Listen to the marine weather report on the world receiver: DP07 and Funkhaus Euskirchen e.V. have recently started offering this service again

In the age of smartphones and tablets, it's a real retro classic: the marine weather report on the radio. After the public broadcasters largely discontinued this service at the beginning of the year, there is now a new provider: the private company DP07 under captain Reiner Dietzel and the Funkhaus Euskirchen e.V. The latter has a suitable transmitter that sailors can receive with their radio as far as Great Britain, Northern Europe, North Africa and Russia.

The so-called "big" marine weather report is broadcast for the sea areas from the entrance to the English Channel to southern Norway, Skagerrak and Kattegat to the Gulf of Finland.

The following broadcast times (in CEST) and frequencies apply: Monday to Sunday at 9.30 a.m. and Monday to Saturday additionally at 2 p.m. on 7310 and 9560 kilohertz and Sunday at 2 p.m. on 9560 kilohertz.
